Within The Day, The IRS Levy Was Released

As a major screenwriter in Hollywood, Samantha (not her real name — TRI always protects the anonymity of our clients) knew the up and down nature of the film industry. Six months after setting up a project at a studio, she would be flush with money. But just six months later the money could dry up along with the work. After selling a lucrative spec script packaged with a major star, Sam thought she had hit the big time. She spent without putting away the money to pay her income taxes or planning for the future, believing that the good times would continue to roll.

When her fortunes abruptly changed and the writers went on strike, she found herself unable to cover her huge tax bill. By ignoring the problem, Sam hoped it would go away. Honestly, Mr. Stephan, Norman is AMAZING!  I’m convinced that he’s a Superhero – a mild mannered attorney by day, and a masked, caped, crusader by night. I have visions of him cornering IRS agents in the dark alleys of Gotham City, and bopping them on their heads.  Please don’t tell me he doesn’t do this and spoil the fun. I really so love this image of Norman: An unassuming, modest, kind, gentle man by day and a caped IRS bopping crusader by night.
Mr. Stephan, you run a ring of amazing heroes.  Yup – it’s definitely a good image for the Tax Resolution Institute. Anyway, I want to thank you again, and to let you know again, how wonderful Norman is.   I have been so blessed, and I am so so so grateful.
